今回は、夢告地蔵尊、別名子授け地蔵。

今でも子供からお年寄りの方まで参詣者が多く訪れています！！

嘘のような本当の話を紹介したいと思います！！

新町の旧東海道、国道沿いに子授け地蔵という地蔵尊があります。これ
は江戸末期全国的にコレラが流行し、浜松でも死者が出ました。それで
「これは大変、お地蔵さまを作って、お祀りをしよう」と、落命した人た
ちの供養と、今後の安全を祈るために、お地蔵さまを建立し、お祭りをし
ました。ところが明治の初年、維新の大改革と言うので、時の浜松県の県
令林厚徳は、「神仏は分離せよ。邪教淫祠はすべて廃棄せよ。石仏などそ
の一つだ。」と言って、石地蔵の廃棄を命じてきました。
「あ、あのお地蔵さまを捨てるのですか。」
「とんだことになりましなあ。」
町の人たちは嘆き悲しんだが、どうにもなりませんでした。涙をふるって
、こうした石仏などを、穴を掘って埋めてしまいました。やがて50年の歳
月が流れた。
ある夜のこと、新町の町民の一人、小柳丈之助と言う人の夢に、「わし
は五十年前に、埋められた地蔵菩薩である。明るい世の中に出たいもので
ある。」と地蔵菩薩が出て言いました。丈之助はびっくりし「お地蔵さま
が、埋められていては・・・・」町内の人々に話すと、そりゃそうだ。
地の中ではかわいそうだ。」と素朴な町の人々は集まって、境内をあそこ
、ここと掘り出しました。三日も掘っていると、やがて石仏と共に、この
地蔵尊が発掘されました。「出た、出た。」町の人は喜んで、小堂を建て
て安置し、僧侶を頼んで供養祭を行いました。すると、この町は急に発展
し出し、小柳丈之助の家では、四十歳を過ぎた妻の加江が、急に懐妊して
、無事に初産で男の子を産もましだ。
「夢告げ地蔵さまのお陰だ。」誰もかれも大喜びだった。その後、この事
から子授け地蔵とも言われ、今も参詣者が多いです。
堂内には、等身大の見事な地蔵尊が、右手に錫杖、左手に宝珠を持って
立っています。

さらに、お地蔵さんの近くに石碑もあります。

石碑は、九州に住む人により建造された物です。

建造した人物も、ある日夢でご先祖様から「静岡県浜松市新町で昔大火を起こして迷惑をかけたからお詫びして欲しいと」と言う夢を見て、九州からお詫びにしに新町を訪れ石碑を建造してくれました。

夢を見るまでは、静岡県浜松市新町の地名など全く知らなかったそうです。

お地蔵さん、石碑共に嘘みたいな本当に話です。
